Welcome Caden!

This is a three-tiered pumpkin themed baby shower cake. This cake was so fun to make!
The top tier is vanilla with swiss buttercream, middle tier is spice cake with a cream cheese frosting and the bottom tier is a dark chocolate cake with a cookies and cream buttercream filling.
The pumpkins are made of fondant and the "wood" sign is made of gumpaste.

Classic Wedding Cake

This is Kyle and Angie's wedding cake. 14"-10"-6" tiered Red Velvet and Vanilla cake.

The flowers are roses and a few stephanotis -- all made of sugar (gumpaste) brushed with luster dust and then steamed.

This is my idea of a wedding cake! It's classic and vintage and I love the ivory-white contrast.

My camera is back in action!

So my camera battery charger has gone MIA for months so I finally just gave up on finding it and bought a new charger. So here are some of the cakes/ cupcakes that I have done since the last charging of my camera....
Emily's Vegan pumpkin cake with vegan cinnamon frosting.

Monkey Cupcakes! The face of the monkey were just little sugar designs. The body and the bananas were made of buttercream.

Bridal shower cupcakes for a healthy bride and groom who own an organic food delivery service.
The carnations are made of gumpaste and the broccoli is made of a lime tootsie roll, dab of buttercream, and green non-pareil sprinkles.

Star Wars Cake

This cake was really fun to make! I was a little nervous about drawing Yoda out of buttercream, but I made it happen! The logo was pretty tricky too--the "S" and "T" and the "R" and "S"connect...

Katie and Luke's Wedding Cake

I made this cake for Katie and Luke's enchanting wedding. The top tier is vanilla with chocolate hazelnut filling and the two bottom tiers are chocolate cake, one with peanut butter buttercream filling and the other with vanilla buttercream filling. The peony's are made of sugar. It went really well with her vintagy-outdoor theme.

This cake was for a baby shower. Miss Piggy and Kermit are made of fondant.

Yo Gabba Gabba!

These Yo Gabba Gabba!  Cupcakes were made for brothers Harmon and Simon for their birthday party. The cupcakes are vanilla with chocolate frosting and the faces are made out of marshmallow fondant. I went from not knowing anything about these characters to calling Muno my favorite! (Brobee's kinda cute too!)

Charles!

This was a really fun cake to make.
Charles was turning 80yrs old and his friends had a cartoon picture of him and thought it would be a great idea to put it onto his birthday cake. He loved colorful bow ties!

On the WWW

Alright, the moment you've all been waiting for....
Okay, so just the people asking "Why don't you have a website?"
I created a little blog so everyone can see the cakes I have done.
Hopefully this will help someone looking for a cake in southeast Michigan!
